Our New Wkend Routine...

It was by chance that I discovered this "vintage indian" makan place not so long ago, for some inexplicable reason the place just kinda warms me on the inside and the hustle & bustle of the restaurant is very nostalgic.. maybe its the ceramic tiles, maybe its the glass-paned windows, it may even be the dull-pink coloured walls.. but something about this place just clicks with the ah-chek in me. (^_^)

So kittywifey and I had "adopted" this place as our saturday-brunch place. I would highly recommend the white rice set w/ chicken masala & Kittywifey's favourite paper-thosai. Everyone eats with their hands here and I can already imagine bringing my BB Kitty to this place when she's grown.. keke.. but think cannot let her sit on their kiddy-ride.. cause the music that comes out is Classic Indian-Pop Hits! LOL!
There's plenty more on the menu that we had not tried though, am not gonna divulge the exact whereabouts so that those that are interested can go hunt for yourselves. hee. They serve really good teh-tarik too!

We had always driven there but we decided to take public transport there last sat so that we can venture around little India, we deliberately walked the inner parts of little india (away from the main streets) and were pleasantly enchanted by the colors of shops, and even bollywood pop music that were being played in the lesser-exposed areas! There were art galleries and dance studios and the sights and sounds made us felt like we were abroad.. nice!

3 satisfied Customers!!!
So maybe we will see some friends there on saturdays? haa.. if any of u guys/girls do visit the place let us know what you had tried so if its any bleh u'll save us from ordering it and hence earn the title of "true-friend"! =P

first overseas trip for 3. Hee

Kittywifey and I decided to take a short break and took off to Nusa Dua, Bali one week after her first trimester. We've never been to Bali before and it's been awhile since we took a break overseas and this will be BB's first flight (technically)! haa..

We took Garuda airlines as SQ has no seats on the flight back and we've to say the flight there was not as good as the flight back. Encountered a really blur (senior)stewardess on the flight there but the return flight were full of professional ones. so overall Garuda wasn't as bad as we thot it wld be.

We "HEART" Nusa Dua! it is peaceful, quiet and the hotel that Kittywifey chose was great! And because of a divine delay in our arrival flight, by the time we arrive at the hotel (1130pm) the on-duty manager upgraded us from a sea-view room to a sea-view suite!! the suite is so huge like x5times our flat! haa.. praise God!

We made a deliberate effort to do nothing for this trip and just spent most of our time relaxing at the beach and pool, we did muster the adventurous spirit in us and went off to Kuta one evening.. sorry to Kuta fans,,, we didn't like the place at all... it was all too cluttery and we find ourselves constantly comparing it to patong beach and we find ourselves missing the latter more and more as we soldier-on and walked down the stretches of Kuta...

Wifey reading her "shopaholic" book and showing off her sexylegs.. =)

Which brings me to my next rant.. Phuket pple > Bali pple.

Not that we met any crooks *actually one airport shop charge me extra for mineral water by hiding behind the counter & tearing off the price tag and another offered to drag our luggage at the collection area thn asked us for $ (-_-)~ * and generally Bali pple are nice and all but somehow you feel that the sincerity level is not there, and the megawatt smile that they give to you is not of the hospitality kind but more of a monetary "hope you give fat tips" kinda feeling. Hope I've not offended anyone but that's just the way it was for me.

We enjoyed the trip but Kittywifey had food-poisoning on the day we were supposed to fly back to S'pore, got me really worried (Kitty puke count for whole day = 8 times) and we had to see the hotel doc, admist all of the worries we confessed of her wholeness in Christ and she was fine and well by the time we got back to S'pore at around 1am. =)

P.S: we now know why ang-mohs always order drinks without ice, cause they make ice cubes from their tap water and that's where the contamination lies. =P

Wifey had to wait for 8hours at the hotel before our flight back, so it was tough for her but she still managed to stay glam! haa.. (above pic is her napping aft 6th bleh-ing...)

Looking back, the time we had was fantastic for the most parts & the sunshine was accompanied by the most valiant of sea breezes you can imagine, and though we were glad to come back, we would definitely think of visiting Nusa Dua again..
Bye Bye!!
P.S: We found some stone monkey statues round the hotel and decided to take a series of pics with them (hope u can tell who's the monkey), Enjoy!
note to kittywifey: though its unlikely we can travel before the start of your 3rd tri, but I promise I'll bring you for a deserved break next year when our princess is more settle oki? =D

But am really looking forward to our blessed baby being born into our lives and the thought of being parents is just so overwhelmingly great that words can do no justice to it. God is in-charge of my household. =)

I have so much things and thoughts I wanna say (its been accumulated for 4 mths) but I dun wanna make this a whiny post, so just gonna let you have a sneak preview of our Blessed BB!!
