MILLIPEDE Syndrome

Simon-Dad : "You all buy shoes like you're a millepede..."

hmm... suddenly thought of what my father-in-Grace said to us (and Kittywifey's Mum + Sis) few yrs ago.. we don't deny we like to buy shoes but guess Y this statement rang in my brain's partly because me n' kitty were discussing bout our shopping weaknesses yesterday n' today whilst out in town.. as well as when me came home just now, me realised that the following picture is just about the average sight of what greets us Ev'day when we enter thru the front door of our pad, whereby we'll then mental-race each other to say the following remark just to tease one another of our *archilles-heel* of shopping...

"wah Darling, you got alot of friends come over hor?? keke"

After taking the above picture, i then decided to "document" the other places where we keep our shoes at in the house...

First our shoe cabinet just outside our bedRo0m..

.. then our Walk-in Wardrobe,

.. finally I decided since i went through with all that trouble, Why not see if we really hv the "millipede-syndrome" and the following pictures are the result of my findings pweeze: -

Haa.. I guess e two of us may hv a very very vveeerryyy slight case of the "millipede-syndrome" la, but we just have been blessed so much that up till this point we really have no idea we had this amount of shoes in the house.. but as i was goin through our "collection".. i came across this shoebox and guess no-one could have put it better....

Last~day of Break for Kitty!!

Today's the last day of CHRISTmas break for Kitty~wifey. But instead of indulging herself to slacking at home, being the sweet girl that she is she volunteered to bring me to stock-up on me COmics! Hee.. knowing that she has a craving, i suggested to go "tian-tian" curry rice at henderson, her fav curryrice store; for BKfast. Sorrie no pics here, dunno Y everytime eat that rice very fast gobble down de.. (as with any other food for us,, haa...)

Went to Plaza Sing for my dosage of COmics and found an old favourite! these sugar with flour waffle thingy but its in balls shape! not only issit a novelty, but also yummy!

We munched away at the lil flour balls while watching 2 JC boys playing "Guitar-Hero" on X-box360. They weren't very good, but we'd be worst! keke...

We then went over to the museum to take some nice nice pics. Kitty~wifey went online & saw they had this free exhibition by this Japan design team *GROOVISIONS*. They have designs and collabs with labels such as MTV & Hermes, CD, Vinyl sleeves for music artists, Jap Chic restaurants but most products are centred around these characters named CHAPPIE. Their exhibition is SOOO cute and Cool! pity they don't allow photography inside the exhibition,, my SLR is weeping... but still took alot of nice shots around the museum but can't put ev'thing here so go look see my Facebook album if free baa..

Love u darling for the museum trip n' indulging me with fictional-plans to break into the museum to do a "italian job" on the cutesy exhibits. keke.. although your break is over and me starting new work soon but me am sure we'll still spend good quality time 2Gether De! AMEN!

potatOes & cheese...

Hubby Bear have been craving for the mee siam at Maxwell Market for quite a while and we finally made the trip today, yipee! had our favourite mee siam, oyster pancake, tau suan and the infamous fried sweet potato balls. its soooo good when its piping hot. crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside...oooooh....

another breakthrough for today; we finally ventured to siglap on our own!! in a bid to search for the popular Cheesecake Cafe. turns out it wasn't too hard to find and it is a really nice chill out spot. had a loooong discussion of which cakes to try only to have the waitress come back to us after we ordered (in the midst of our anticipation, sigh) that the american cheesecake we ordered was not avail.

nevertheless, the chocolate cheesecake and walnut cheesecake were still one of the better ones that we've had.

Hubby Bear ended up browsing thru Men's Health (UK version, of coz) while trying out some of the mini but very difficult exercises from the mag. AND the exercises really DO work!

Thanks Hubby, for taking the effort to do all these to keep in shape. And yes, I will be ready to go for our run together again whenever you'd like.

new yEar, new begiNnings

5..4....3...2.....1!!! Happy New Year!! With the onstart of a brand new year, Hubby decided or rather, WE decided it was about time for me to put up a post on our blog. We have had soooo much fun and precious time together since our christmas break started almost 2 weeks ago. We are truly blessed to have the luxury of the extended time off from work and to indulge ourselves in late nights, late brunches, tea time, supper and late night football matches. Simple pleasures. And I have been munching non-stop on my recent favourite alpha biscuits + milk in the late nites...i love the novelty of having biscuits in cute lil shapes, numbers and alphabets..

We were shoppin around last week and we went into Gastronomia which makes some mean banana cake and we saw some thin crust pizza just teasing us from the counter.. Hubby Bear had the brilliant idea of getting a mozarella pizza and a salami pizza and just slop both of it together to create a lovely mozarella-salami pizza. Went home and prepared them as he suggested, popped the combo in the toaster and voila! ma ma mia! The pizza was awesome and oh so satisfying. Complete with tobasco and root beer. That is what we call a simple "home-made" dinner.
